Hey David,

Thanks for stopping by. I have often wondered if your logo used a typeface or if you created it for the purpose of your logo—it's very unique. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice insight into your typeface choice.

I like the feminine aspect, and agree that Bodoni creates more of a masculine appearance. Perhaps that's why I like that one too.

My own logo uses the Danube typeface, and I chose it after a long time experimenting. Ultimately, I loved how the 'D' and 'A' worked together to form my mark.

I hope you're well, Karly.

Alec,

I'm glad you like my font choice. I took a look at both Californian and Ellington. I really like the feel of Californian, but I think I'm in love with Baker Signet's y. I'm a big fan of Ellington's name as I love Duke Ellington's music, but the font itself is a little too playful for this purpose.

Brian,

Thank you for the compliments on my logo. I agree with your assessment of Baker. As for the movement in the logo, it was actually on purpose. I didn't necessarily mean for it to point directly at the y, but at my first name.

Hi Karly,

I like the Baker font better than the others you were trying. It definately has that feminine touch, yet it is professional and modern.

The way I look at your logo, I like the way the "b" with the arrow in the circle sort of counters the curve of the "y". Maybe thats just the way I look at it, but it gives it nice vertical balance
