Hi Evrim,

I'm always interested in learning new color correcting techniques. Please come back and share when you have a chance.

I rarely shoot in RAW. I probably should work with it more, it's definitely easier to color correct RAW photos and convert them to a file I need later.

Oh, I'd love to have any books you do not want. I can never have enough design materials to read. I will let you know next time I'm heading to Portland and maybe we can meet up for some coffee.

There is another technique, similar to yours that I picked up at a convention. I will see if I can find it and post it here.

or you can shoot in RAW format or even with JPEG use Lightroom for correcting.
there is a book called Color Correcting by the numbers which kind of does the same thing. If you want, you can have it btw, I am getting rid off some of my books I already read or do not need anymore. It is probably more useful for you as it also talks a lot about CMYK processes.

Evrim Icoz - Portland Wedding Photographer's last blog post..Rebecca’s Bridal Boudoir Photos!
