Yes, I posted about my personal logo design sketches as well and will add more sketches in the future.

The colors were chosen for a reason. The drop is golden because it is the common color choice for biodiesel. The red was requested by the client and the cyan was chosen for its association with clean. Think of Windex or a clean body of water or the sky on a clear unpolluted day.

Thanks Leslie. I’ve wondered the same thing about the drop. However, I don’t think it is such a bad thing if someone mistakes it for a rain drop. After all, rain/water is essential for sustaining life, so it is a similar message.

Wow, Karly. Beautiful work. I love to see designer sketches, and I think #49 is also a really cool logo idea.

I like the final you came up with very much, but wonder how the drop will read in black and white. If you can’t see that it’s yellow, do you think it may seem like a rain drop?
